Two Arrested For child Endangerment

Last week, a five-year-old child went missing in Holcomb, and now the little girl’s mother is being charged with child neglect. Cassandra King, 38, the girl’s mother, and Katrina Pounder, 37, who also lives at the home, are both facing charges of “deprivation of necessaries with substantial harm of a child.” County Investigator Deputy Eric Williamson said that this charge is a failure to provide adequate care and nutrition of a child. The two are being held at the Grenada County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
