Problematic Water Levels

Grenada Lake has become a problem for local officials. The emergency spillway overflows at 231 feet, and the lake is as high as it’s been all year at 227.5 feet. Chris Terry, who is the natural resource manager at Grenada Lake said, “Depending on the rain we get, we could get to the emergency spillway mark.” The lake is 12 feet over the recreational level, and over 18 feet higher than what makes the Corps comfortable.
